If we were to describe Marrakech, the scent of spices, the colors of the desert, the bustle of the souk… and the camels come to mind. Riding a camel through the landscapes of Marrakech is a fascinating experience.
Experiencing a magical camel ride in Marrakech is a must when visiting Marrakech. When you don’t have time to enjoy a 3 or 4 day tour in the Sahara Desert, experience a camel ride through the Palmeraie of Marrakech where caravans once filled the desert landscapes.
Our driver will meet you at your hotel with an air-conditioned vehicle to take you to the starting point of the tour in the Palmeraies region. Then, our guide will give you instructions on how to safely ride a camel and provide you with a traditional Tuareg shawl “turban” to protect you from the sun.
The ride will be through local villages where you will witness the culture and lifestyles of the locals who live on the outskirts of the red city, as well as explore the vast and rugged palm grove, with snow-capped mountains of the High Atlas.
After your memorable ride, you will enjoy a mint tea break with traditional pancakes lovingly prepared by the locals.
At the end of your camel trekking experience, you will return to the starting point of the trip, where your driver will take you back to your hotel.
